How we make money.
Independence is our product, so the funding model is public. Three revenue streams, three rules, zero exceptions.

1 · Affiliate commissions
Some tool links may earn us a commission if you subscribe after clicking — at no extra cost to you. Current status: two programs are live. We joined Make's affiliate program on 12 August 2026 and n8n's on 14 August 2026, so Make and n8n links in our articles are tracked affiliate links. Live affiliate links are shown with a solid red underline and carry rel="sponsored". Links shown with a dashed underline are still placeholders: plain links to the vendor's public site, marked in advance so you can see exactly where money may one day flow. As more programs go live we'll update this page and the table below.

Zapier is linked in several tutorials and pays us nothing (it has no public affiliate program as of 11 Jul 2026). We recommend it anyway where it wins.
2 · Referral fees
If you ask us to connect you with an implementation partner or vendor and a project happens, the partner pays us a flat, capped, published fee — S$300 per qualified introduction (never a percentage of your project, so our fee cannot inflate your quote), stated again in the introduction email itself. Only vendors who pass our published vetting scorecard are referral-eligible — a pass can never be bought — and we publish the scorecard's pass rate and criteria version quarterly. Current status: no referral partnerships are live yet.
The founder firewall: Ronnie runs 4i Solutions, a consultancy that does implementation work in this field. To keep this site's independence real rather than rhetorical, 4i Solutions is permanently ineligible for referrals, listings, scorecard verdicts and "get matched" routing — no lead from this site will ever flow to the founder's own shop, and no article will recommend it.
And one standing rejection, in writing: no vendor-paid listings, ever. Nothing on this site is a paid placement, and no directory we publish will accept payment for inclusion or position.
3 · Templates
We sell workflow templates (the same ones our playbooks teach you to build free by hand). During launch, templates are free. Paying for one skips the setup time, not the knowledge.
The three rules
- Verdicts are never for sale. Rankings and recommendations are decided before we look at what a link pays. Where the best answer pays us nothing — including "don't buy anything" — that's the answer we publish.
- Every commercial relationship is disclosed — on this page, and again at the top of any article that contains affiliate links.
- Grant content follows the money for you, not for us. Our PSG/EDGE guides include vendor-markup math even though it costs us goodwill with potential partners. That stance is the reason this site exists.
